A display switch should never leave you blind.
Check hardware before a switch, keep a recovery checkpoint, and have a shortcut ready if a display goes missing.
Preflight
Windows checks whether the saved display layout is valid before PitLaunch applies it.
A way back
If a switch fails, PitLaunch attempts to restore the previous displays and audio. Undo cannot reopen apps that were closed.
Rescue
Ctrl + Alt + Shift + F12 turns every detected display back on.

Is PitLaunch free?
All features are free during Early Access. Open the app during this period to receive Early Adopter Pro permanently. The entitlement is stored locally, so keep a backup of the PitLaunch data folder before resetting Windows. PitLaunch is proprietary software; its source is viewable, not open source.
Does it need an account or internet connection?
No account is needed to use the app. Saved setups work offline and stay on your PC. Update checks use Microsoft Store for the Store edition, or GitHub for the standalone installer.
Will Windows SmartScreen warn me?
The Microsoft Store download uses Microsoft's installation flow. The standalone installer may show a SmartScreen warning because it is not code-signed. Only continue if you downloaded it from the official release and verified its SHA256.
What happens when PitLaunch updates?
Microsoft Store manages updates for the Store edition. The standalone installer has its own updater; portable copies are updated manually. Setups live outside the installation folder. When moving from standalone to Store, the app offers to copy existing setups on first run.
Do I need a physical Stream Deck?
No. Stream Deck Mobile turns your phone into the same two-button switch between Desk and Sim Racing.
How else can I trigger a setup?
Use the app, system tray, a per-setup hotkey, game automation, Stream Deck or Stream Deck Mobile.
