Displays
Restore active monitors, resolution, refresh rate, primary screen and physical layout.
Built for Windows 10 and 11
One switch restores your displays, sound, windows and apps—safely and together.
One-time setup
PitLaunch captures reality instead of making you type device names and display coordinates by hand.
Arrange the screens, choose your audio and open the windows you use.
Do the same once for your wheel, racing display and session apps.
Everything returns together with one deliberate action.
One setup object
A setup is the state of the whole session. PitLaunch puts each part back where it belongs.
Restore active monitors, resolution, refresh rate, primary screen and physical layout.
The right speakers and microphone, every time.
Put every window back on the screen and position where you left it.
Start what belongs and close what does not.
Move to the rig when a configured game starts, then return when it closes.
Validate first, apply together, and roll back instead of leaving a half-switch.
Your switch, your way
PitLaunch stays out of the way until it is time to move.
Stream Deck + Mobile
Assign one button to each setup. Press Desk to return, or Sim Racing to move to the rig—on a physical deck or your phone.
Hotkey
Bind it to your keyboard, wheel software or any launcher that can run a command.
Game automation
Launch a game and PitLaunch moves to the rig, then switches back when you quit.
System tray
Apply a saved setup without opening the full window.
Pricing
No trial clock and no cut-down edition. Download the complete local app and use it on your Windows PC.

| Best fit when you need… | PitLaunch | DisplayMagician | SimLauncher |
|---|---|---|---|
| Whole-PC Desk ↔ Rig switching: displays, audio, window positions, apps, hardware readiness, game detection, Discord, Stream Deck, safety and recovery | Strongest fit | Display-first workflow | Launcher-first workflow |
| NVIDIA Surround / AMD Eyefinity / cloned displays and unusual display hardware | Windows-visible layouts only | Strongest fit | Different focus |
| A large game/companion launcher: 27 sims, drag-to-reorder and launch delays | Game presets, not a 27-sim catalog | Different focus | Strongest fit |
DisplayMagician is stronger for NVIDIA Surround, AMD Eyefinity, cloned displays, and unusual display hardware. SimLauncher is stronger as a large game and companion-app launcher, with 27 sims, drag-to-reorder, and launch delays. PitLaunch is the whole-PC Desk ↔ Rig switcher: displays, audio, window positions, apps, hardware readiness, game detection, Discord, Stream Deck, safety, and recovery move as one setup.
PitLaunch 1.0 behavior in this comparison was verified locally on the launch machine. Competitor strengths are fair summaries of their official documentation and were not hardware-tested here.Interactive app preview

Trust is a feature
PitLaunch treats each switch as a transaction, with a way back even when hardware has changed.
Windows checks whether the saved display layout is valid before PitLaunch applies it.
If a step fails partway through, PitLaunch restores the previous state instead of leaving a half-switch.
Ctrl + Alt + Shift + F12 turns every detected display back on.
Before you install
Pick a topic. The useful answer is probably short.
Yes. PitLaunch 1.0 is free, open source and MIT licensed.
No account. Your setups stay on your PC. Internet is only used to check GitHub for updates.
For now, yes. PitLaunch is not code-signed yet. Choose More info, then Run anyway. Release pages include a SHA256 table for verification.
Installed copies update themselves. Your setups live outside the installation folder, so updates do not replace them.
No. Stream Deck Mobile turns your phone into the same two-button switch between Desk and Sim Racing.
